Number 1. Good decision going to HEI. Ive always used factory used ones & gone through them.
2 That is a good carb but will take an adapter & modifications to install. The original Monojet is a good carb & easy to put a kit in.
3 The regular AC replacement plugs are good as any. You don't need these exotic metals & multiple electrods. I have had bad luck with Champions.
4 you can put power brakes on from a 67-70 model or you can change to discs useing 71-72 parts but then you need 5 hole wheels. I have found Carquest shoes to work very good.
