That truck is nice and someone put it together.What is that on the driver side inner fender,an identification plate?A factory vin# in`71 wouldn`t let you know if it`s a Chevy or GMC without research.It wasn`t until`72 that GM added a letter to the front,"T" for GMC and a second "C" for Chevy.From what I see,it`s got what Longhorn Man said as well as a`72 bed.Do your doors have the`72 dimple/screws?
