rusty truck blues
Hello all. I own a 67 chevy 1/2 ton short stepside with alot,I mean alot of rust
out. Rockers,floor,corners,and now I found rust on the roof around the driprails.I would probably need an umbrella to drive in the rain.Recently I bought an 88 liteduty 2500 body only for the disc brake setup to go on the 67
The 67 has a 292 inline engine.Will it go into the 88 without a lot of problems?
The 88 is a Silverado with an auto trans,I would put an 88 up manual behind the 292.Will this work without major headaches? The 292 runs great as it is in
the 67.If this swap can work I could delete 2 other vehicles in my herd,3 with
the 67.I plan to find another 67/72 cab.Thanks for any info on this swap.
If I found a decent 67/72 cab,the 88 will be up for discussion.Oh, minus the front suspension.Again,thanks. Muley
