Just saw this, sorry to hear about the hassle. Are you talking the angle bracket? They were in the plastic container, or di that get opened?. Do you want to split the extra cost?? Or do I owe you a few beers next time I come down that way.
We always get the extras up here, but I did not know it went the other way also. I have shipped many sets of bedwood to the States, and I have never had anyone say anything about the extra charges.
