I LOL'd at that one, good catch!! That fire would be a BAD one. The header will melt the hose until it springs a leak. At this point gas is shooting onto the engine, but the engine is probably still running because the hose isn't melted in two. At some point the fire starts, and the gas keeps on shooting onto it. Scary stuff!!! By the time you pull over, shut the engine down, and take a look, it's all over with for that poor truck.
PS - do you plan to run a heater? If not you can get a fitting to go right into your intake manifold to replace the spark plug plug (spark plug plug??) contraption that you have. Although to be honest, I think the spark plug plug (I like typing spark plug plug) is rather neat. Not every day you see that!
Edit - I need to read better. I see LHM already commented on the spark plug. Oh well, to add my two cents, I think the spark plug is a neat solution to the heater problem.
