Shaved handles is the process of removing the outside door handles on a car/truck. To make it work an electric solenoid is connected to the latch release mechanism inside your door and is wired to a switching device to activate it on demand, which back in the day was a hidden button but nowadays is done via remote control. It's relatively inexpensive and easy to rig up. The hardest part is welding in the patches to cover the holes where the manual handles used to be. Here's a link to one of the better kits out there.
