Originally the dually trucks from this era were cab and chassis trucks. And I think they were only available as a 1 ton. Therefore, no trailing arm suspension for 1 ton trucks. Now if you built a 3/4 ton trailing arm dually, that'd be pretty cool and I bet it would ride pretty good.
