Thanks for all of the comments and any suggestions or information / advice will be greatly appreciated.

I already have a question. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out what the factory paint colors and schemes (two tone and what have you) were for my year, I will probably stay with the factory blue, but I am really liking the blue over white over blue trucks that I have seen on here.

Also I am going to try and work on the truck some this weekend. With the truck sitting for so long I am planning to drain the gas tank and if the contents aren't too dirty add new gas and see if it will start. Will this be okay or should I go ahead and blow the lines out and clean the carb?
