Similar thing happened to me this weekend;
driving down the road when it just seems like I run out of gas. I knew I wasn't out but pulled in the gas station and put a few gallons in. Start up and start back home and the same thing happens. I tow it home but I can tell it just isn't getting fuel. I replaced th inline filter a couple of weeks ago. Do I start at the tank and work forward or change the pump? What is the easiest way to get to the sending unit/sock pick-up. This truck sat for several years and I just recently started driving again. It has run strong and the problem came on all of a sudden with no indication anything was going on.
