Have you tried the blue hoses? I cant remember but I think that they are goodyear??? I had a similar problem with my jeep and its lower hose, so I got the blue hose and have had it 2 years so far with no problems. I want to say goodyear gator hoses, but I dont think that is right.

edit* The hose is called high miler.
While I was looking for that I found this also.
