I am still not sure of what I have. I want to purchase these drop spindles.

When I talked to the guy he said that there were two types (bolt on and clip on). He said that the bolt on types are help on by two bolts. The other type has a pin that is used to secure it.
Is it true that there were two types on the 71' and if so why? I havent yet had a chance to check my truck as it is in storage and I want to buy these spindles.
