My 68 spent its life in the NE and it was saved only because one of the po's sprayed a bunch of undercoating on the undercarriage.It still has some rust, but not as bad as most that I have seen from this area. Check underneath on the backside of the rockers,the cab mounts and especially at the spare tire well and definitely if you can get a peek under the carpet in the kick panel areas.They are the biggest problem areas.Check the bottoms of your barn doors too.
