Pickup frame to Suburban frame is definately doable. I did it (I think!). You just need to weld in Burb rear frame horns and and change/add body mount brackets 3, 4 and 5 (counting from front to back). These pics should help explain. I also filled in frame mount #6, which is oblong (sp) on a pickup and then hole-sawed a round hole for the burb round body mount. I boxed part of the frame where the rear horns are welded on and put on a Valley Industries hitch, which has a grade 8 bolts on the other side of the weld. No way it can come apart or break now.
