If you don't have a posi already, the fastest, easiest, cheapest way to lock up is with a 'lunchbox locker.' These replace the spider gears and side gears and you do not have to remove the carrier. Because of that you don't have to setup your ring and pinion again. You also don't have to worry about swapping a rear and still just having a gov-lock (GM factory posi) and who knows what kind of shape bearings, brakes etc. Some examples are a Powertrax lockrite or no-spin. I'm not sure who else makes one. The no-spin is supposed to be a little bit tougher I think.
