Thanks for the replies. I can't file for a lost title because I'm not the last registered owner. The current owner doesn't want to mess with the truck anymore so I doubt he will go through the process to get a legit title for it and then I'm sure he will want more for it if he did. I don't want to pay what he is asking with no title and he didn't sound like he would come down on price but he might change his mind the longer he has it. I'll try to get some pics.
