If the 3.73 gears is what you want, I'd swap the rear end. I did it on Old Yeller and it's no big deal. If you pull the axles there's a lot more work to do. $450 probably isn't too bad for a rear end with a posi and 3.73s. It depends on what brand posi and how much abuse it's seen.

Yeah thats true, although at the moment im just looking at the cheapest possible way to some 5x5 lugs on the rear of this truck to mount some American Racing Hopters I have . I always assumed that used rear ends where in the $150-200 range
