Hi Everyone,

I am still trying to decide on the 409.. I found one completely rebuilt for $5500, one that needs rebuilding for $2500, and another one with assembled heads and short block for $3000 with a crossram intake and carbs, and I found a free 348. Do I dare to be different or am I going to regret it. The real issue is I want/need to fix the few soft spots on the truck and get it painted, I need to re-upholster the seats and I need to get the 2004R or the 700R4 installed and swap in the 3.73 when hottrucks gets done playing. My 350 in the truck now only needs a set of heads. It has 305's on it now and I was going to find a set of aluminum heads just for aesthetic reasons. I just don't know where to begin.. and I can't decide which order to do things as I cannot afford everything at once.... what would YOU do???
