I had the same question when replacing the stock pump....
took the old pump with pully to the to the autozone i frequent and played a little dumb about how to do the pulley swap.
the guy there showed me the tool, I asked a few questions about it and he pulled the old one and installed the new one to save me the 15 bux to "rent" the tool...
