Re: changing oil after coolant contamination

My 67 was in a flood once.Water above the bottom of the windows.I pulled the drain plug and let the water run out.When it went to oil I added a couple quarts and got it warmed up good.Took more time to get the electrical dry enough to run.Then I changed the oil and filter.Ran the truck another 40,000 mi or so before I did anything else but maint on it.
