That's exactly what I ended up doing. I made temporary spacers out of scrap metal. I'll make better ones later. I had the truck together for a couple months so all the grounds were already in place.

Here are pics of the finished bed..actually 95% finished. Still need to tighten all the bolts. The pics of the whole truck are when it came home from the body shop. I have since put it together but have been waiting to finish the bed before taking more pics. My interior is currently at the trim shop. Should be ready by middle of next week. I can't wait!!
