That is wrong... Disk with dome up, metal cup, then plastic ring with studs pointing DOWN. Then put screws in and just snug them up. Look down around the outside of the cup and see if the metal disk has about the same amount showing all the way around. You have to be sure that the studs on the plastic ring are down THROUGH the metal disk and not on top of it...
