I just put black plates on my 67 Camaro this year and evrything that Lee H says is correct. I wanted to say that buying the YOM sticker can get pricey, so I had some plates that still had the old registration stickers on them so I took a razor blade and a hair dryer and peeled off each one until I got to the first one which was 1967,took it to the DMV they blessed it and now its on my car. save the old stickers on wax paper-you never know who will be willing to buy one from you.....good luck
