Dropped my truck 3.5/5 a few years back with early classic products and would do it again.

Will I have to c-notch my frame since im considering droping it 5 in the rear?

No

Will I have to buy new shocks or can I just buy the shock relocation brackets?

Not sure but I would guess that you do. I needed new shocks anyway and bought drop shocks/relocation brackets and I would also recommend an adjustable panhard bar.

And will doing a drop like this with the coil springs play a major role in how my truck handles and rides because I use this truck as a daily driver?

Mine is a daily driver and the ride is better as it has a lower center of gravity. Those drop springs in the rear will still handle most loads you throw in the bed too.
