Re: What was the sweetest part of your build?
When I first saw this thread I thought I had nothing to contribute to it so I never read it. I just read it and realized I do.
I was not lucky enough to be able to raise my oldest son, that is a story for another time, but since he became a grown up and moved back in the area we have spent many hours working on these old trucks. He is more knowledgeable than I am about them and I have learned a lot from him.
We spent many hours combining parts from many trucks putting together a '67 swb stepper for me. We learned a lot about each other which was great.
I may never finish the restoration, but I value the time we spent together.
