The cheapest Detroit locker you can buy is the one for a chevy Corp14 (go figure. it's the biggest axle around) You can get one new for $345. Other axles cost as much as $550.

500 bucks would be an "OK" price for a complete axle. There isn't really a 3rd member for a Corp14 as it all has to be set up. i.e. the pinion and stuff can't be set up and popped in like other axles.

The carrier is worth about 10 bucks and the gears about 150.

If you are going to put money in an axle get a corp14
