Tim, I had Wes at ClassicHeartbeat order it for me about a year and a half ago. I opened the box at that time to see what it looked like, but never took it out. It did not come with anything whatsoever except the grill, which I did not find out until I was ready to assemble it. I had to go to the hardware store and come up with some fake looking aluminum rivets for above and below the headlights. Plus I added stainless philips screws for the upper and lower portions of the side brackets. That all turned out fine.
I had called Wes when I found there was no hardware in the box a couple of weeks ago, and he said he usually comes up with his own anyway because the stuff that comes with it is cheap. He also said he makes his own latch extension. But I have no idea how the hood latch is supposed to work, which is why I started the thread. I don't have the truck here at the moment, as it is getting painted. I wanted to have everything ready to assemble when I get it back in the next couple of days.
The thing that really gets me about this, is while I was cleaning the protective film of grease off it, the chrome started peeling at the top, and a small bit on the bottom. I did not know this until after I talked to Wes about the hardware. But I doubt he can do anything now anyway. Either way, it is VERY disappointing. Hopefully the bumper will hide the lower portion, and the upper part won't be seen unless the hood is open, but it is a fairly large section and most likely will get worse.
