My opinion is that if they were installed per spec why do you want to shoot grease into them. They should have been greased before you installed them and not need any more for quite sometime. I have a 69 and mine did not need any more grease after install. Just makes a big mess if it starts oozing out the cup. but if you feel the need to grease them more maybe more preasure on the nozzle, maybe it is not getting past the ball valve
