Don't forget to clean/paint the frame, and under the cab where the tank goes. Only time you can get to it...
The carb is a Quadrajet. Good carbs. Plenty of literature on them, and rebuild kits to freshen it up. I'm a Holley guy, but there is nothing wrong with them. The trick to them is to keep your foot out of it. 1/4-throttle driving, and it'll sip gas.
