Around here it gets a little tiring with all the "wanna sell that truck" offers. Rust-free bodies are tough to find.
I paid 4K for it as you see it in the picture below and drove a looong way to get it.
Everybody around here is looking to take the old truck off your hands for less than 1K.
The conversation usually goes like this:
Lugnut: "Wanna sell that truck?"
Me: "How much are you offering?"
Lugnut: "How much do you want"
Me: "Well, I wasn't looking to sell, you were looking to buy. Make an offer."
Lugnut: "How much do you want?"
Me: "$11,000."
Lugnut: "Hmph!"
