I see the numbers people are getting out of their LS swaps, and they are impressive. I wonder though....What does the torque curve look like on these motors? They are obviously working good for the "hotrod", and even the fuel economy minded crowd. But I wonder how they'd work for someone looking to swap a stock(ish) 5.3l into a heavy 4x4 burb with big tires on it?
