Re: Door Panel Time

Decided to just take this project through until done...so here it is now in pictures...now done as far as I am concerned. Remember, this truck is for working and as much as I would like it to be a garage queen...at best, it will always be a solid looker but a practical working truck nonetheless. This truck has actually been a money-maker...which is why it gets to be spoiled on such a project as this.

Anyway, a lot of breaks in-between life and stuff today, but timed the paint and re-assembly process to see this project done over a 14 hr period. It has been on my list of things to do since spring and glad to see it done!

Not too bad considering I hate spray bombs.

And finally the gauge cluster, (a past project), looked good tonight...so a final pic.

Wondering what the next project will be on "this old truck"...cowl hood, engine, brakes, body, more cosmetics???...the list on these old trucks is always endless! Yet since a new one is nearer 50k. I think I'll hang on to the old..
.
