Re: 1977 Chevy K30 Crew Cab Build
My plan just keeps evolving & changing as the time goes by & things getter a little nicer...
Original plan for interior involved a color scheme change, the new vinyl Corbeau seats (and matching the rear bench to them), new dash pad & rubber flooring.
Well, as we've slid down the slope to being more up to "show quality", I think the interior planning is getting a re-vamp! I am going to have the seats totally recovered with black leather on the outside & maybe some charcoal microfiber material on the centers.
Roman has already talked about covering the LMC door panels & dash pad in leather, so I am sure we could mix it up there to. Since I will have the red stripping on the hood as well as on the badges - we may go with a red double-stitch on everything which would look cool I think.
He'll recover the headliner in the same charcoal material & then recover the Suburban overhead console sides in black leather to offset it. He's also going to make-up his own floor carpeting rather than using the rubber stuff & then I'll just get all weather mats to go down over it for driving.
Working on some custom billet trim items for the door like in the rendering & have a company that can do it when we get there too.
I don't want to go overboard with it really (no TV's.... hehe), but definitely a little more upscale than originally planned.
