Don't get me wrong, I know the Whipple isn't a cheap set up. But I see how your building this rig, and I think the 2100.00 would be far better spent toward the blower than just a modded intake. Consider this, you are at 500hp now. The Whipple would put you at 600HP and be able to run all day long with the a/c blowing snowballs at you.

Looking at what your doing with the steps on the nerf bar, I hope you don't mind if I offer another suggestion. Based on my experience with steps, you would have a more functional unit if it ran the full length of the truck.

By making the smaller outer bar full length, and filling the gap with expanded metal, it would accommodate a wider variety of passengers, AND help keep road debris off of your paint.
