I am finally at the point of taking my truck in for finish body and paint. I have been searching high and low for a pair of perfect wheel tubs. The wheel tubs are the only thing left on my project that require any bodywork, and finding a decent set has proved very difficult even here in Cali.
That all changed at the pick n pull
I came across a 68 Longhorn with original paint. I imagine it had a camper on most it's life, judging from the condition of the bed. I literally had both wheel tubs removed in a matter of 10 minutes. I have never been able to remove bed bolts before without over tightening and snapping them off. These are the nicest original paint tubs I have ever seen, and they are the last pieces I needed before I turn my truck over to paint prison...
