4. Unbolt torque converter from flexplate/flywheel this also requires you to remove the access cover to get to the bolts (you may have to remove starter)
5. Unhook shift linkages and speedo wiring along with big plug on the passenger side
6. Unhook cooler lines
7. Remove trans crossmember if it can be unbolted, if not unbolt the rear mount
8. Unbolt from engine
9. Take it down
All this can be done if exhaust isnt in the way, if it is, then you have to get the exhaust out of the way. You will need a big screw driver to turn the engine while you get the converter bolts out.
2wd's = easy
4wd's = long day
