Sadly you're right .

This is why I do not own any modern vehicles ~ SWMBO let me re spray the hated Toyletta Corroded and we gave it to Grand Daughter as a H.S. Graduation present , as it works *perfectly* in every way , she loved it , i wanted to bash it with a sledgehammer then burn it to a crisp.....

Even considering the cost and effort to rebuild an old worn out truck , I feel it is money well spent .

I live in Southern California , land of more cars than Detroit ever had (and Buick sized pot holes) and few actually DRIVE their oldies , this is sad and wrong IMO .
