I am a bodyman by trade and would steer clear of aftermarket fenders. They are thinner as stated and to get them to fit correctly you can spend as many hours as fixing a damaged/rusty OEM set. Then when you are done with all of the fitting you still have a thinner lesser quality set. We have tried aftermarket fenders on these trucks before and had at least one or two holes on each fender that didnt remotely line up. I would look at it this way, figure out what your time is worth compared with the cost of purchasing a good set of OEM fenders. From my experience your better quality aftermarket parts fit decent on nonamerican vehicles but not on good old American steel.
