Re: Finally starting my Longhorn 4x4 conversion

I finally took time on Father's Day and worked on my truck. My wife sanded the box on my F-350, so not it is all primer gray and not 3 different colors. My friend Mathew showed up and cut and fit the LH intercooler tube, I got the rear cab trim polished and installed, and started on the down pipe for the turbos. Mathew also dug out the LH fender and put it on to make sure the radiator support was in the correct location. We then saw more great work done by my painter. I'm not happy at all with him. Today I finished the down pipe and checked it for fit. Man it's tight in there! I also found the hardware for my tail gate and mounted it on. I had to put it on so I can weld my bed sides in place. Here's some pics.

I have to pick up more stargon and then I can weld up all my turbo piping. We came up with an idea on how to get my PS line in there, so I think the engine is ready to come out so I can finish the frame, and get everything painted. Oh yeah, we also worked on the trans cross member some more. This truck has to be drivable by June 29th!
