Re: 72 K-10 Pitman Arm?

Fellow Buckeye --- I take if you had a pitman arm from a manual K10 you would try it and see. All the listings I have seen show for a power steering gear however I have yet to find one different for a manual gear.

Can you compare the pitman shaft on the manual gear to a power gear? If the same give it a try. I have power on my 67 K10 --- I do have a spare powergear with pitman arm and rag joint but there are many out there --it is my spare from an 88 blazer -- has o-ring fittings but that can be conquered if you run across a non-sae iff.

I am guessing the pitman arm to be the same. Someone else may know for sure.

LMC shows 2 manual 4wd steering gears -- the 67-68 has a nut just like the 2wd's but the 69-72 shows the same style pitman shaft as a power gear which uses a bolt to tighten.
