Do you really want to finish it or take the lumps and move on to the bike? How long has it been since you worked on the truck? Is it a long bed or a short bed ? How much do you think you could sell it for? If in the super super duper soft economy right now the truck only could bring half of what you think it should, would you walk away from it or hold on to it and not get the bike yet? Some of these questions need to be answered for you only for your benifit so that you can be better ready to face the situations that may arise from the possible sale.
