Yeah thats why I said it depends on if your going to use it for hauling loads ( for a truck) or use it for cruising and showing it off. I stand by my "silly" statement because if your going to haul stuff all the time a bedliner would be the way to go (unless money is a issues) and if your hauling stuff alot one would guess its not a show truck or restored truck so your not devaluing a show truck.

Just like you said if you dont haul alot or very often painting the inside of the bed is a great way to go and looks great to boot.
And i said silly not to line it if you haul alot not silly to paint it.

Anyway just my 2 cents dont mean to offend anyone.
