EDIT: one note I hadn't mentioned in our previous conversations, and you may be aware - the funky a/c bracketry is because this was original a Fremont truck/subsequent registered in CA truck, and had a smog pump mounted in the empty spot there in front of the passenger side valve cover. hard to find part - or you can yank off the oddball smog pump bracketry and replace it with standard non-CA emissions bracketry for the a/c. |
It was my understanding that California Big block trucks did not have a smog pump. My 72 GMC is a A/C truck with no evidence of it ever having a smog pump. My truck is also a Fremont truck. Expert Opinions appreciated.
