My wife may be picking me up a 68 4wd C10 this weekend (its her gift to me, and I am on deployment right now)... the problem is I want to lower it, add an 5.3L LS, and make it mean. Can I swap out the 4WD axle and front suspension and bolt a disc brake crossmember from a 71-72, or even a 73 - 87 into the truck easily? From what I am reading here, and a few other places it seems pretty easy... I guess I am just looking for some reassurance...
