All the trucks shown don't have chrome reverse wheels. Those wheels are known as "chrome smoothies". The difference is chrome revers are deep dish OEM style wheels that are chromed and smoothies are aftermarket with no vents and only accept baby moons using inner nubs...until Wheel Vintiques came along and started making Vette rallyes for multiple vehicles with a small variety of caps the mount this way.
I never ran chrome reverse because they ended up rusty. But now that a truck may sit in a garage,pretty much only driven on sunny days,and kept clean as a whistle they make a great choice for a period correct look. Guys ran these open as much as with baby moons...depended on if it was a custom look or a badass look desired. It was also common to run OEM wheels painted black with no caps or deep dish ones...generally with chrome acorn lugs. I had a '65 F85 (4spd) with black deep dish that was tough as nails
