also, your column shifter will act just like a floor shifter. except the reverse location is different

reverse is pulled towards you and up.

1st gear is pulled towards you and down.

2nd gear is away from you and up.

3rd gear is away from you and down.

if you already drive stick then it will take you about 1 second to figure it out

one thing to keep in mind though, you only enter 1st gear if you are at a complete stop. if you are rolling at all it will grind. so if you are slowly rolling, just start in second.
