You may have read my previous thread titled gear ratios, and I have one more question. I found a set of 3.73 gears that would fit my differentials but the problem is that they are in half ton axles. The differential numbers match up (DANA 44 fronts on both trucks and DANA 60 in both rear ends) I just need to know whether or not I can pull the gears out of the half ton axles and then mount them right up in my original three quarter ton axles.
