The old school circle track racers, used to run a 4 barrel carb on the straight 6 engines, there are cams, rods, cranks the whole 9 yards to build whatever you'd like out of your 6'er. That being said... the simplicity of dropping in a v8 makes the idea, unless your heart set upon it, a hard choice to make..(the old there is no replacement for displacement theory)
