Re: CHROME RIDLER 695's Installed 71-72 SWB

hey, thats my rig! ha ha. thanks guys. the white is ppg "extra white". it makes normal whites look light grey. it's hard to look at in the sun. it's like driving a signal flare down the street. nobody has to guess who's coming.

let me tell you my wheel story. after looking at wheels for over a month, i went to three different local wheel shops, not tire stores. they had no clue as to what fit, backspacing (offset) that sort of thing.

i ended up ordering a set at one of the local stores and was glad that was over, well the next monday, he calls and says his whare house is out of the 20x10's and it would be atleast 6 months. i told him to cancel. crap, back to square one.

now, moderatly depressed, i start reading this board. now, i'm sure that every one on here has seen many times "call tommy lee for wheels" i know i had. by accident i come across a thread that tommy posted about some wheels he'd just installed. so i picked up the phone and called tommy lee.

i have built quite a few old cars and trucks over the years. i can tell you that buying these wheels from tommy was the best, easiest, car parts i have every purchaced.

the guy knows what he's talking about, didn't trying get me off track onto another wheel, took his time and let me decide what i wanted. this was at about 7pm. he talked me through the options and i learned alot. then after the sale he was very helpful. contacting me and telling me what was going on with my order.

i ordered on monday night. had them thursday.

oh, i almost forgot, he was hundreds cheaper too.

if you need wheels, CALL TOMMY LEE. ksbrtracer on the board.
