If I buy a cab from one guy and a frame from another and neither hand me a title how do I get it registered. I am in CT and they want a VIN verification. I am fine with switching VIN plates, but I wonder if they are gonna go to the frame for a back up like they did with my 73 Camaro?

Ideas? Has anyone been in a similar situation in the past.

I searched and was having trouble finding threads that talked much about this.
