To answer your question Greg, the speed warning feature alerts the driver when he has reached a pre-determined speed. When you turn the small knob just above the speedometer on the left it moves the white needle on the speedometer to where ever you set it. As you increase speed, when the orange needle makes contact with the white needle it grounds a buzzer and lets the driver know he has reach his speed without looking at the speedometer.
Hope this helps you understand the function of a speed warning speedometer. They are a little hard to find in working condition.
